About The Insider Ledger
Most financial news reports what investors say. SEC filings record what they do with their own money. The Insider Ledger reads those filings — open-market insider trades (Form 4), activist stakes (Schedule 13D), and quarterly fund holdings (Form 13F) — for a fixed watchlist of prominent investors and founder-led companies: Berkshire Hathaway, Pershing Square, Appaloosa, Coatue, and Altimeter among the funds, and insiders at companies like NVIDIA, Microsoft, Alphabet, Meta, and Amazon.
Each week an automated pipeline pulls the new filings from SEC EDGAR, checks them against a fixed scoring rubric, and writes the edition on the front page. The rules it follows — what counts as a strong, moderate, or weak signal, and why — are published in full in the methodology. Every claim in every story links to the SEC filing it comes from, so nothing here asks to be taken on trust. When the pipeline gets something wrong, the correction is published in the affected story rather than silently edited away.
The Insider Ledger is a GuildMark product, operated by Romanos Antonios Trechlis, a sole proprietorship registered in Athens, Greece — full provider details are in the GuildMark legal notice.
